This policy explains what data Online Receipt Generator (onlinereceiptgenerator.com) collects, why, and what your rights are. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Who is responsible
The data controller is Evrenus Fırat Polat, an individual operator based in Türkiye. Email: [email protected]
What you type into the generators
Everything you type into a document generator or calculator (names, addresses, items, prices, tax numbers, notes) stays in your browser. The preview and the PDF are made on your own device. We do not send this data to our server and we do not store it in a database.
The site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or any cookie to save your form. When you reload or close the page, the form data is gone. Download your PDF before you leave.
What the site itself stores
- No user accounts. There is no sign-up or login for visitors.
- No database of visitor data. The server has a database connection that is used only for a health check. It holds no visitor documents and no personal data from the public pages.
- No site analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics script on the public pages.
- No cookies set by our own code on the public pages. The only cookie our own code sets is a session cookie for the private admin area, which visitors never see.
Server logs
Our hosting server records standard technical logs when you request a page: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser type and response code. We use them to keep the site secure and working, and to find errors. Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you or to build profiles. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Currency converter
The currency converter calls the public Frankfurter exchange rate API (api.frankfurter.dev) from your browser. That service receives your IP address and the currency code you picked, as any web service does. The amount you type is not sent.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads. This is how the site is funded.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Google and its partners may collect and use information such as your IP address, cookie identifiers, device and browser information, and the pages you view.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or, if you are in Europe, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you opt out, you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized ads and the cookies behind them need your consent. Consent is collected and managed through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. You can accept, refuse or change your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie message on the site. If you refuse, Google shows non-personalized ads.
Google acts as an independent controller for the data it collects for advertising. Its own privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to other sites
Guides and pages link to official and third-party websites. We do not control their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before you give them data.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
International transfers
The site is hosted on servers and through services that may be outside your country. Google may process ad data in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct wrong data;
- delete your data;
- limit or object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without effect on earlier processing;
- move your data to another service;
- complain to a supervisory authority, such as your national data protection authority or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Because we do not store your documents, we hold very little about you: your email and message if you wrote to us, and short-term server logs. To use a right, contact us. We reply within 30 days. Rights over data that Google holds for advertising are managed in your Google account and in Google's Ads Settings.
Security
The pages are served over HTTPS. Because documents are made in your browser and not sent to us, they are not exposed to our server. No online service can promise perfect security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
