These terms apply when you use onlinereceiptgenerator.com ("the site"). The site is run by Evrenus Fırat Polat, an individual operator based in Türkiye. If you do not agree with the terms, do not use the site.
What the site offers
The site gives you free tools to create documents such as receipts and invoices, calculators, templates and written guides. The tools run in your browser. We do not store your documents.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful personal and business purposes. You agree to:
- create documents only for real transactions that you are entitled to document;
- enter correct information;
- follow the laws that apply to you, including invoicing, tax and record-keeping rules.
You must not:
- create fake, backdated or altered receipts or invoices, or documents for transactions that did not happen;
- use any document to commit fraud, for example a false expense claim, false tax deduction, false refund or return, false proof of purchase or payment, or an invoice to collect money that is not owed;
- impersonate another person or business, or use another business's name or logo without permission;
- use the site to send spam, to spread malware or to break the law;
- attack, overload or probe the site, or scrape it in a way that harms it.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules. Fake documents can lead to civil and criminal liability. You alone are responsible for how you use the documents you create.
Your responsibility for documents
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every document you make. Rules for invoices and receipts differ between countries, states and business types: required fields, numbering, tax wording, language and retention periods. The site does not check that a document meets your local rules. Check with your tax authority or a qualified professional.
Information only, not advice
Calculators, guides, industry pages, rate tables and templates are for general information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Results depend on the values you enter and on rules that change. Tax and interest rates may be out of date or may not fit your case. Do not rely on them for decisions that matter without checking an official source or a professional.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the site is error-free, uninterrupted or secure, that calculations are correct for your situation, or that a customer, bank, court or authority will accept a document.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, that comes from your use of the site or from documents you made with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence under Turkish law, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Intellectual property
The site's design, code, text, guides and translations belong to the operator or its licensors. You may read them and link to them. You may not copy them in bulk or republish them as your own without written permission. The documents you create with the generators are yours, and we claim no rights to them. Some data sets are offered under an open licence shown on their own pages (for example CC BY 4.0).
Advertising, third-party services and links
The site shows ads from Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse the ads or the advertisers. Cookies and ad data are described in the privacy policy. The site also links to third-party websites and uses third-party services, such as an exchange rate API. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Changes to the site and the terms
We may change, suspend or end any part of the site at any time. We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the last update. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Courts in Türkiye have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use the courts in your country of residence.
